I started blowing glass in 2003 working at Icefire glassworks in Cannon Beach, Oregon. Glass is a fascinating material to work with and the challenge keeps every day exciting. I currently work in Bend, Oregon, at a studio run by Michelle Kaptur.
My educational background includes classes taken at Firehouse Glass in Portland, Oregon, The Eugene Glass School and a 2012 Session at The Pilchuck Glass School with Richard Royal and 2016 Session with Davide Salvadore, Pietro and Ricardo Ferro and Shelley Muzylowski Allen.
Currently my work is focused on blending colors and finding balance with color and form in my Torch series, Inclamo vessels and most recently my murrini work. I make playful starfish, fish and tide pool weights reminiscent of my years at the coast.
My latest art pieces can be seen at:
Kittrell Riffkind in Dallas, Texas.
Icefire Glassworks in Cannon Beach, Oregon.
Earthworks Gallery in Yachats, Oregon.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Thank you!
